Office of Student Activities (OSA)

Looking for a way to get involved or for something to do?

The Office of Student Activities assists students as they develop events, programs and services for other students and the Carlow community as a whole. Through this process, the OSA staff offer individual consultations and group activities that are essential for the intellectual, personal, and social development of our students. The OSA serves as a central location for students to become involved with campus activities and events to further develop social and leadership skills and to meet other students with similar interests.

Most OSA programs are co-sponsored with student organizations and other campus offices, services or classes. In partnership with the Campus Activities Board, Residence Hall association and the Commuter Student Association, the OSA strives to offer a comprehensive array of academic, social, spiritual, political, cultural and recreational activities in which students become engaged and which encourage full interaction and participation by all constituencies of our diverse student body.

The OSA is a hub for student organizations, co-curricular programming, leadership development, new student orientation and offers individual leader, small group and organizational consultation, as well as a leadership and programming resource center. Throughout the year, OSA will promote opportunities for leadership development – on and off-campus. Watch your Carlow email for invitations!

There are also many opportunities for students to work or volunteer and hold significant campus leadership positions in the OSA and through the office – on campus and in the Pittsburgh community. For more details and information, contact an OSA staff member.
