American Chemical Society


The American Chemical Society
focuses on promoting students in the field of chemistry by providing guest speakers in related fields and arranging off-campus experiences and exciting events.

The Mission of the Carlow chapter of the American Chemical Society shall be to afford an opportunity for students interested in chemistry to become acquainted, to provide an opportunity to learn about various careers in the field of chemistry, to instill pride in the chemical sciences, and to promote women in the field of chemistry in the Carlow community.

 
Activities ACS are currently involved with include:  
  • National Chemistry Week at the Carnegie Science Center
  • Speakers, Panels and Tours
  • Enironmental Explorations at Frick Park
  • Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair
  • And many more!
