Community Outreach

Student OrganizationsCommunity Outreach is dedicated to service and service learning as it connects students to local agencies and national and international relief programs. Through Community Outreach students participate in direct, indirect, and civic action programs. Many programs are local; however, there are opportunities to work in other areas around the country during Alternative Spring Break programs. Other examples of service include Habitat for Humanity, Sojourner House reading group, local soup kitchens, Central Blood Bank Blood Drives, Oakland recreational programs, and senior citizen programs.

Interested students should contact advising staff member Mary Dorsey-Bunnell by phone at 412-578-6069.
